📖 How Scrolls Work

Scrolls are passive modifiers that appear as a fourth option during level-up. Once selected, a Scroll persists for the entire run. Unlike Enchantments, Scrolls cannot be changed mid-run.

Patch 9 introduced a Scroll HUD that displays active scroll cooldowns, trigger conditions, and stack counts.

Scroll vs. Enchantment vs. Mastery

Scrolls are run-level passives chosen at level-up. Enchantments are permanent account-wide upgrades purchased with Gold. Masteries are the ultimate Enchantment tier unlocked through Ascension.

Best Scrolls for Co-op

Drinking Buddies is the standout co-op scroll — every Health Potion heals 50% to all teammates.

Best Scrolls for Solo

Lucky Scroll grants a random scroll plus an extra Scroll Chest on the map. Passive Income trades Luck scaling for guaranteed Legendary upgrades every 5 levels.
